EASI-Genomics launched an Extraordinary Call for proposals focusing on COVID-19 related projects in May 2020. 

Researchers from European countries were invited to submit project proposals involving the sequencing of human biological samples and/or data analysis related to COVID-19 projects until the 30^th of June 2020.

To answer the challenges of the current COVID-19 pandemic, EASI-Genomics decided to launch an Extraordinary Access Call focused on host genetics factors of predisposition for severe cases of SARS-Cov-2 infection in low-risk populations.

Through this call, EASI-Genomics contributes to solving the current global health crisis by offering a great opportunity for researchers to access high-end sequencing services delivered by European genomics infrastructures free-of-charge.
