Epidemiology and Public Health Laboratory (Mixt Unit 1027 Inserm / Toulouse 3 University)
The work of this laboratory called "Epidemiology and Public Health Analyzes: Risks, Chronic Diseases and Disabilities" aims to increase knowledge about the pathophysiological and social determinants, patient care and consequences of chronic diseases.
These questions are envisaged by a global approach considering the individual in its individual, biological, physical and psychic dimensions. This approach places the individual in his family and social environment, which obviously requires the implementation of multidisciplinary approaches. In addition to producing knowledge, research also aims to lead to intervention trials and applications in public health.
